Why not take advantage of one of the fastest growing and most popular summer activities in our area. Kayaking is a sport that is easily learned, great for the whole family - or an individual - and a dynamite way to take advantage of the northeast's spectacular scenery. 

Almost all of our kayaking trips take place on the Upper Delaware River, which is protected by our National Park Service. The northern stretches of the Upper Delaware offer some of the best scenery in the area. Make sure you bring a camera - you are almost certain to encounter numerous bald eagles during your trip. If the eagles are too quick for you make sure you snap a couple shots of the majestic cliffs and ledges darting out hundreds of feet above the river as well as waterfalls crashing into the river. You are definitely  going to want some postcard memories of this area. 

If the river is not your style, how about a tranquil afternoon on secluded waters like those at Prompton Lake or one of the many back country lakes and ponds in our area. This would be the perfect venue for a family or small group that would like to have a laid back, lower impact day. We would be glad to tailor a trip to your specific needs and provide you will the maps and information you will need. From a one day adventure to a several day - overnight combination we do it all!  Whether you choose a single day or a multiple day event Northeast Sports, LTD. can even cater meals for you during the trip. Imagine a high quality home cooked dinner by "Ma" Mang or elegant catered dinner by Jill's Kitchen. We offer simple sandwiches on the shore to full course meals by a roaring campfire. The stomach filling  possibilities are literally endless. So you don't have a boat or gear? Not a problem - we will be happy to provide you  with a clean rental boat and all the gear necessary for a safe and enjoyable trip.  We stock only high quality boats and equipment that is all brand new at the beginning of each season. 


Never kayaked before? There is an easy solution for this as well. We can provide you with a very friendly highly trained guide that will show you the proper paddling and safety techniques. Our guides are all Wilderness First Aid certified as well as experts on the upper Delaware River Valley. Make sure you pick our guides' minds for every last bit of information they have!

Finally, if you need transportation we have you covered there as well.  Northeast Sports, LTD. can provide transportation for up to twelve people and all the gear. We can take you to the river and pick you up downstream after an adventure packed trip. There will be nothing for you to worry about - all you need to do is sit back, paddle, and enojy!
